Improving the lives of the most vulnerable by caring for their carers
Counselling Carers provides high quality, specialised counselling and psychotherapy to anybody with a caring role. Our counsellors and psychotherapists are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and we abide by the BACP's ethical framework.
Counselling Carers is a social enterprise. That means we work for you, not for profit. We do our best to keep our costs as low as possible, whilst still paying our staff a fair wage. Any profit we make goes straight back into providing more high quality counselling and psychotherapy.
We want to see the most vulnerable people in our society thriving, and those who care for them are often unsupported in this vital task. Our mission is to create space for carers to process their own feelings, find restoration and healing, and be empowered to be resilient.
Owing to Covid-19 we are currently doing all our counselling sessions online. We hope to have face to face sessions in our Oxford hub as soon as possible, but in the meantime we are still available to carers anywhere in the UK.
We use our profits to reduce the cost of counselling sessions for those who cannot afford them, but with your help we could offer this vital service to even more carers. Could you help to fund counselling sessions for a carer looking after one of the most vulnerable in our society?
